Instruction Manual is one of the eight unlockable puzzles from P.I.HUNT 2. The puzzle is set up as two full pages of instruction text.

Solve Path[edit | edit source]

This puzzle involves finding and following a series of steps. The flavortext provides a hint of where to look for the first instruction.

The last line of the text reads "number five (after Periods: The Next “Clue”) when put together!". This means to take the fifth letter after every period and string them together for the next instruction.

The instruction reads "ANTEPENULTIMATE WORD IN EVERY OTHER SENTENCE". Take the third to last word of every other sentence starting with the first for the next instruction.

The next instruction reads "THE TWO WORDS IN THE EXACT CENTER OF THE TWO PAPERS MAKE A FOUR WORD INSTRUCTION THAT IS PUNCTUATED WRONG". These words are "first page" and "double. Letters".

The next instruction reads "FIRST PAGE DOUBLE LETTERS". Take the double letters from the first page of the puzzle for the next instruction.

The next instruction reads "CORNERS". Read the words at the four corners of the text on both pages for the next step.

The next instruction reads "MAKE DOUBLE SIDED THEN FOLD SAME NUMBER TOGETHER". This requires printing the puzzle double sided, then folding the paper so that the digits (not the written out numbers!) from 1 to 6 touch each other. The next step can be read somewhere on the folded paper, several times.

The word "cut" appears several times in a line in a couple places on the folded sheet. Cut the paper at those places while folded, and then unfold the resulting mess. A couple of cutout shapes should stand out in particular, and the rest can be ignored.

The two largest shapes when unfolded are a letter and a number. When pronounced, they will lead to a five-letter answer.
